Hasbro's Ricochet Racers, from 1974, were an interesting twist on the popular SSP theme.  No winding, revving or
cranking needed to jet these babies across the kitchen floor.  Nope, the car goes in the
cartridge, the cartridge into a plastic gun and PUTCHEW!, off they go.  The ultimate marraige
of racing cars and war.


To further enhance the product and concept the cars were sold with stunt ramps and fire hoops.
They were also sold with barrels for targets.  These were also intended to distract you
from shooting the cars at your sister or family poodle.
