Scare Cycles By Euphrates
First, there's the guy who digs collecting toy motorcycles. His collection consists of some
Screamn' Demons, an Evel Knievel stunt bike and RRRumblers from the HotWheels line. Then,
there's the fellow who loves collecting monsters. He has Remco's big-head monsters,
Aurora models and AHI figures. If these two found themselves sitting together on a bus, what
would they talk about?
Ideal's Scare Cycles are the Reece's Peanut Butter Cups that bring these people together. Made in 1978, these choppers are manned by ghouls! Each bike is about 8-inches long with glow-in-the-dark features and are driven by rear friction-wheels. The monsters are unarticulated and are removable. The only riders I have found so far are The Grim Reaper and Frankenstein. The Grim Reaper's bike has 3 wheels while Frankenstein's bike is the traditional 2-wheeler. I do not know if these were the only two creatures made or if the balance are just very hard to find. The latter may be true as information on these seem to be as scarce as the bikes themselves.
